Finance Assistant Reporting to the Management Accountant working within the Management Accountant team. This role is a busy and varied role, centred around the financial management and control of the Manufacturing, Stock and Project Accounting system modules. You will work closely alongside the Management Accountant in order to enable the provision of monthly and annual accounting information for both the UK and USA operating companies. Accuracy and time management are essential skills for this position. The role will include the below duties; To ensure manufacturing activity is accurately reflected in GL Weekly reporting analysing activity for provision of the Senior Management team Responsible for the maintenance of the Project Accounting System Ensuring accurate input of time sheet data, supplier invoices and stock issues Monthly Reporting Prompt reconciliation of all relevant GL accounts Daily invoices/adhoc credits The right candidate will have a minimum of 2 years experience in an accounting role and have exceptional IT skills. Ideally studying with one of the recognised accounting bodies, AAT finalist qualification desirable or CIMA/ACCA.
