Overview Join the finance department for an established Fintech: We are looking for an Accountant, to assist with various accounting tasks, assessing risks and ensuring all accounting activities comply with regulations. Ultimately, your role will be pivotal in maintaining our company's financial health and increasing profitability in the long run. Opportunity Up to £50,000 25 days holiday pension benefits Excellent culture and supportive environment Key Responsibilities Take end to end ownership of month end processes. Preparing monthly management accounts (P&L, Balance Sheet) You will own process improvement, create reporting efficiencies and make your mark on the controls, reconciliation and reporting processes Meet statutory deadlines for VAT Returns, Payroll PAYE, Statutory Accounts, Company and Self-Assessment Tax Returns. Supervision of an AP accountant. Qualifications, skills and desirable experience ACA, ACCA, CIMA with 2 years or more post qualified experience Have strong technical knowledge on new UK GAAP (FRS 102) Excellent IT skills (Xero, Sage, Quickbooks and Caseware software are a bonus)
