Our client are a thriving accountancy practice with a wonderful reputation for offering outstanding to services to their client portfolio. This is a newly created role to assist with the growth of the business audit services to their clients and is a brilliant opportunity for an Accounts professional with a year or two's audit experience to join the business and create their own future in this specialist area. The key responsibilities include: Take a lead role on client audit assignments, as required and Identify points for the assignment manager to raise with clients Carry out bookkeeping, including ledger maintenance, supplier maintenance and management accounts preparation, as and when required Liaise with clients to obtain relevant information for their accounts, acting in a proactive manner and ensuring attention to detail and effective questioning of client Prepare statutory financial statements Prepare business tax calculations partnership and personal tax returns Prepare corporation tax computations Assist with general client enquiries regarding aspects of their accounts and other business related matters Monitor own quality of performance and time costs in line with agreed budgets Administrative tasks when necessary Assist in the delivery of ad hoc projects Provide support to trainees through on-the-job coaching and supervision of their work Experience Required: Experience carrying out audits & preparation of statutory financial statements Strong computer literacy Strong listening skills Excellent problem solving skills Own transport and driving licence are critical We want to hear from candidates with any experience in this area who are looking for a new challenge and the chance to work at an organisation who really do offer some great staff incentives and support.
