Robertson Bell are recruiting an Interim Commercial Director of Finance for a growing, commercially focused, not for profit organisation, based in Central London. This position is a 6-month contract with a strong chance of the role being extended or made permanent for the right candidate if they wish to pursue it. Overseeing the Finance team, the Commercial Director of Finance will be responsible for driving operational effectiveness and a positive culture across the organisation. Specific responsibilities include: Overseeing the production of Statutory Accountants and the preparation of budgets and forecasts. Be a key member of the Senior Management Team, responsible for directing broad strategic decisions and working as the right-hand person of the Chief Operating Officer. Lead on provisions of financial analysis on performance and trends of the organisation to ensure head of departments are fully informed of any future income or income opportunities are followed up. Lead on financial projects, hitting delivery targets and working closely with project managers to ensure these projects are within budget. We are looking for fully qualified accountants (ACA, ACCA, CIPFA, CIMA) who have experience working at a senior strategic level. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are key, as is the ability to build credibility and influence externally and internally.
