Job Title - Senior Finance Business Partner Location - London (Paddington) Rates - Up To £306.90 per day (PAYE) and Up To £351.49 per day (LTD/Umbrella) In Scope of IR35 About the role / project: In this role you will provide a proactive financial and management accounting service to budget holders to support business decisions and maintain financial control. You'll be involved in operating expenses, putting reports together, going into capital expenses reviews and working with the project team. There will also be numerous ad-hoc requests from senior management. What you will do: Support the preparation of business plans and budgets, providing specialist advice. Produce and present period actuals and forecasts for budget holders, including preparing period accruals, transfers and adjustments. Issue reports and support budget holders in understanding the impact of the period results and forecasts against budgets. Produce the period end business review pack and highlight any significant issues with financial and other business results. Monitor and promulgate corporate governance throughout the function and review compliance with financial regulations. Contribute to understand customer requirements to provide a customer focused perception as well as engagement to resolve queries in a timely manner. Model and analyse the cost base and identify and monitor opportunities and efficiencies. Participate in budget holder key meetings to provide sound financial advice and support. Provide day to day support to business teams assisting as necessary to provide financial analysis. Support the procurement and commercial services as required as well as assisting in contract tenders as required. Support the integrity of the finance information within all reports and management information created, highlighting risks as appropriate. Your experience will include: -Accountancy qualified or part qualified. -3 years of accountancy experience. - Experience with operating expenses or capital expenses. - Experience with business planning and analysis. -Ideally have worked within NR or a government body but not essential.
