Who we're looking for Director with extensive Digital Operations with Aerospace, Manufacturing, Automotive or Transport logistics experience Deep focus on one or more of Fit for Growth, Business Market Growth Strategy, Operating Transformation, Capabilities Development, Strategic Cost Reduction and Digital Disruption. Excellent client handling skills with experience of leading external client projects and/ or large scale strategy and operations change programmes We're looking for a Digital Operations Strategy Consulting Director to join our team. About the role As a Director in the team you will be part of the Leadership team and play a key part in influencing and shaping the strategic development of the team. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to Client Delivery building productive and lasting client relationships at all levels by identifying and discussing key issues with our clients to identify potential opportunities. Manage and deliver large projects by developing the project team, assessing engagement risks throughout, driving conclusions, and reviewing / challenging the output produced by the team. Business Development proactively lead the practice by setting strategy, drive the development of new business in the market, and provide technical advice across disciplines including business strategy, market growth strategy, route to market strategy and operational improvement. Thought Leadership Thought leader in aerospace or defense strategy and operations processes / practices; viewed by clients as an expert who they turn to for help and advice on their most difficult issues including fit for growth (Behavioural change, capability, and cost structure), adaptive business model and eco systems design. Practice Development Developing propositions drawn across Strategy& and PwC capabilities. Proactively leading the practice by setting strategy, drive the development of new business in the market, and provide industry and technical advice across disciplines as well as recruitment, on boarding, and ongoing mentoring and coaching of our people. The ideal candidate would be interested in either progressing their career to the next level with an aim of becoming a candidate for partnership or a subject matter expert happy to remain in the Aerospace and Defence space. Essential skills & experience You should have experience of some of the following A background of digital operations strategy experience Clear record of achievement and progression in both a leading consulting firm and in either Aerospace, Manufacturing, Automotive or Transport logistics sectors and/or blue chip industry roles Deep focus on one or more of Fit for Growth, Business Market Growth Strategy, Operating Transformation, Capabilities Development, Strategic Cost Reduction and Digital Disruption. Excellent client handling skills with experience of leading external client projects and/ or large scale strategy and operations change programmes Intellectually curious, demonstrate strong problem solving skills, Significant international experience including Europe, North America, Middle East Strong change and people leadership skills, track record of successful change execution and an exemplary track record in providing client satisfaction A strong team player with empathy, humility and dedication to joint success and shared development Strong oral and written communication skills with ability and flexibility to operate successfully from boardroom to shop floor Educated to post-graduate level in Economics, Mathematics, Business, Science or Engineering they will be highly numerate and must be a highly motivated self-starter.
