We are one of the most innovative and award winning property service providers. Our Sales Ledger Team, based in York, are looking to recruit an Accounts Assistant on a 6 month fixed term contract to assist with a new contract. In this role you will; Work as part of a team to manage all aspects of the sales ledger/franchise function. Opening of customer accounts on the ledger. Producing/importing of invoice files on a daily basis. Accurate posting/allocation of customer/internal group cash. Dealing with customer/Franchise/other branch staff telephone queries Producing BACS files to submit to Head office Ensuring good relations/communication with Head office (management accounts/credit control) Have the ability to work accurately to deadlines when needed (month-end/year-end) To work in a structured, sometimes repetitive role requiring levels of concentration Daily bank reconciliations Undertaking any other duties which may be needed to assist other team members (post/answering door) Due to the anticipated high volume of applications for this post we cannot, unfortunately, respond to them all.
