Counted recruitment are currently seeking a Head of Finance to lead a medium sized team based in Sutton Coldfield. This company is a large international business that operate across Europe and have an excellent client list. As the Head of Finance the role will include: Ownership of the UK finance function and the team around it Ownership of multi sites Management of the finance team Responsibility for the accurate and timely reporting of the UK sites Responsibility for statutory accounting Being the main relationship for group and the auditors Leading the budgeting and forecasting processes Being a lead business partner to the non finance stakeholders Attend regular local and international meetings (minimal travel) to discuss performance Be a key driver in helping the company become as profitable as possible without sacrificing quality Own VAT, Tax, Insurances and other areas of finance This Head of Finance role will see you become a key part of the UK senior team, which make up a piece of the wider finance function. You will manage two relationships, the UK commercial stakeholders and the group finance stakeholders. The team has a track record of hitting targets and is well gelled. For this role, personality is key, as is the ability to explain finance principles to finance and non finance staff. This role is ideal for a qualified ACCA/ACA or CIMA. Team fit is key to this client, experience using large ERP systems is also useful.
