ROLE: Management Accountant

£40000 - £45000 TYPE: Permanent INDUSTRY: Financial Services A leading international derivatives broker are looking for an assertive part qualified/QBE Management Accountant to join their team on a permanent basis. The main purpose of the role will be responsible for providing an efficient and accurate reconciliation of company's balance sheet, contribute towards process improvement, details analysis of P&L. RESPONSIBILITIES Preparing monthly Accrual, Prepayment and P&L related schedules within very strict deadlines. Reviewing AP Postings and Accrual schedule. Daily Cash Clearing Account Reconciliation. Reconciliation of Staff Debt Account. Performing monthly balance sheet reconciliations. Analysis of Desk P&L-Trading and Non-Trading. Intercompany Reconciliation. Daily Cash Clearing Account Reconciliation. Preparing commentary for senior management. Analysis of client and staff entertainment posting in ledger. Occasionally covering Account Payable queries. Reviewing AP Postings. REQUIREMENTS Part qualified or QBE ACCA/CIMA 3-5 years accounts experience Strong experience on accruals, prepayments and balance sheet reconciliation Experience with SUN or Concur systems - essential Financial Services background - advantageous Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Positive, can do attitude and an all round team player Effective organisational and time management skills Happy to take responsibility and ownership for tasks set Open to different approaches to find the best solution High attention to detail with a strong desire to learn
