Our client, a specialist Lloyd's broker based near Fenchurch Street, has a permanent job opportunity available for an Assistant Management Accountant. Working in a finance team of four and reporting to the Financial Controller, core duties will include; Assisting in the preparation of monthly management accounts Assisting with the preparation of year-end figures and auditor's queries Maintaining company bank accounts, raising payments and bank reconciliation Managing company expenses and reconciling petty cash Maintaining the fixed asset register Inputting invoices and data into the system Assisting with adhoc finance projects Complying with the requirements of the company's policies and procedures This is an exciting opportunity to join an expanding company that is going through a significant period of growth. To be considered for this vacancy you will have a good academic record, be studying towards ACCA/CIMA and have experience in the above duties, ideally within the insurance or professional service sector.
