SF Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Financial Controller for a fast growing owner managed services and consultancy business in Nottingham. This is a new role as a result of a number of new contracts that have recently been won and will work closely with the executive team to support further growth. It is a really exciting time to be joining the business and offers exposure operational, commercial, and strategic exposure. As the Financial Controller you will be the number one in finance, managing a small team and report directly into the executive team. Key

responsibilities:
- Work closely with company directors in achieving the company's strategic objectives - Manage a finance and administrative function across both operational finance and commercial finance - Mentor, develop and grow the team to support future growth - Support the executive team strategically - Client facing activity to ensure customer service and delivering of contracts and SLA's - Ensure future growth through supporting with commercial bids and tenders - Continuous improvement of systems and processes to support the growth of the business - Responsible for system development to ensure the finance processes and systems meet operational and strategic requiremnts - Successfully cultivate and manage continuing relationships with clients and stakeholders You will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) ideally with previous experience of working in a service/client facing environment. You will be hands on, with the ability to work in a fast paced reactive environment. You will have excellent management experience to mentor and develop the team. You will have a high attention to detail and work with accuracy in order to provide first rate work. You will be personable, professional, with excellent communication skills in order to manage senior relationships internally and externally. The role will be based in Nottingham but would involve weekly travel to London to manage the new contracts, full travel, accommodation and subsistence will be covered as well as flexible working.
