BTG are currently working with a long-standing accountancy practice in Derby that are looking to hire a bookkeeping and payroll assistant. This role will see you working in a busy practice environment to split your time between the two departments. You will oversee all the bookkeeping work with a varied portfolio of clients and work alongside the payroll department to assist in the busy periods. You will be the first point of call for all the clients when it comes to their bookkeeping matters and so you should be someone that is a self-starter and can work from your own initiative. This role will be suited for someone that has skills in online software packages such as Xero and QuickBooks. You will work to transition clients over to this software and provide advice on making the move. This role can be either part- or full-time hours.
