Assistant VAT Accountant - Edgware We are a successful accountancy firm looking for an assistant VAT accountant to join our expanding team on a full time/permanent basis. Please note that for this role you must have previous experience and knowledge of UK VAT. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a friendly and supportive team. The role will involve working with a range of clients and covering the following duties: Bank account reconciliations Reviewing client ledgers Preparing VAT returns Client facing/requesting for information Assisting with producing statutory accounts Scanning and documenting the information Support on admin duties To be considered suitable for this role you must have a genuine interest in accounting, knowledge of UK VAT, be familiar with Microsoft office (excel, word) perhaps with some previous experience. Knowledge of Quick-books would be desirable. Please note all the relevant training will be provided on the software that we use.
