Established in 2006, the Everyday Loans Group has become a subsidiary of Non-Standard Finance plc when it was acquired by them early in 2016. The group offers consumer lending to UK adults not served by mainstream financial services businesses. Within the group, the Everyday Loans business is the largest, non-bank, provider of branch based unsecured consumer loans, and the Trusttwo and George Banco brands provide guarantor loans online to UK residents who have limited or impaired credit histories. Job Purpose Business partnering, forecasting and P&L management. To support the business by providing financial insight, support and analysis across all areas, including operations, risk, marketing and finance to help achieve our strategic aims Key Responsibilities Develop and run business planning cycle including: 5-year plan, annual budgets and quarterly forecasts in conjunction with key stakeholders Develop and maintain risk based pricing models and profitability modelling by product Collating information and commentary for inclusion in the monthly KPI Board pack and Management Accounts, in accordance with reporting deadlines. Prepare and present business cases to influence decision makers for changes to the business model within the restraints of the budget Identify trends and variances to understand business drivers Strong focus on internal customers, building excellent working relationships and insightful business partnering with key stakeholders Business partnering and driving optimal business decision, liaising with business management and group to support or drive business activities Ensure that we are delivering results in line with, and highlight areas of risks and opportunities to, our business plans Ensure that reporting is in place to enable key stakeholders to manage the business effectively Ensure that reporting is in place to highlight operational metrics and insight to enable the business to make informed decisions Help to develop, cost and monitor against the business incentive programmes in conjunction with the Renumeration committee and operational management Use insights to advise on decisions to reduce cost, and increase profit and revenue, balancing financial performance with the operational performance and customer proposition Key Interfaces CFO, FP&A and finance teams Operational management teams Executive team All support functions Skills & Experience Numerate, ideally educated to degree level or appropriate professional qualification An inquisitive and analytical mind Previous budgeting, forecasting and P&L management skills Hands on sourcing of own data through SASVA and querying of datasets Proven track record of meeting multiple objectives Strong communication and analytical skills Demonstrate resilience and flexibility in a demanding and fast paced environment Confident, independent problem solver Strong communication skills Strong Excel experience Competencies Analytical thinking Thoroughness Self development Performance focus
