Treasury Data Analyst 6 Months Canary Wharf £400 per day The role of the Data Analyst is to support the Data Management Lead within the Data Workstream to analyze and document AS-IS state of systems, and data assets in scope for the data migration and work with the stakeholders to define and create the artefacts for TO-BE data landscape. Key Accountabilities Develop and agree data models (conceptual, logical, physical) by working closely with data and business stakeholders. Develop data mapping from source to target for the data migration project. Analyse AS-IS ETL logic at the source, and ensure rules are correctly translated and documented to be implemented at the target system Work with the testing team to contribute test data provisioning approach for test phases (SIT, UAT etc) Contribute in definition and production of data quality metrics for the business Architecture & Design - Comply with standards and ensure Design Authority process for approvals where compliance cannot be maintained. Work with the business to understand the AS-IS reporting requirements and catalogue Work with Digital Security to ensure data security alignment with the organisations Digital Security Standards such as encryption, end point security etc Contribute in Key Design Decisions (KDDs) in relation to data workstream. Conduct peer reviews in-line with Governance Standards. Experience Required Excellent problem solver with experience of solving the business critical problems Candidates must have previous experience (minimum 3-5 years) ,of Data Analyst at a bank / consultancy or major oil company Experience in data mapping, test data provisioning, documenting ETL flows and data reconciliation reporting. Experience in building reports and tracing back to the business requirements.
