Semi senior Accountant Leading Accountancy practice based in Finchley Dynamic and forward thinking accountancy practice Clear progression Our Client: My client is a fast-growing chartered Accountants in Finchley , who are looking for a Semi Senior Accountant to join their already successful team. Roles & Responsibilities of the Semi Senior Accountant role in Finchley: Preparation of year end accounts for review where necessary by senor staff Preparation of cooperation tax computations for review by senior levels of staff A good understanding of VAT and PAYE Preparation of management accounts using excel, sage, quickbooks and online systems A good knowledge of bookkeeping systems including sage, quickbooks and online systems Clients include sole traders, partnerships and limited companies Audit work to support the audit team where appropriate (an advantage) Assisting with statutory work including the preparation of dividend documentation Training and supporting junior members of the team Liaising with the team manager in terms of job work flow and status Dealing with clients queries Providing general support to the team in terms of accounts and administration Liaising with the Tax team to ensure a high standard of client service The ideal candidate for this Semi Senior Accountant Role in Finchley: Accounting and finance or other relevant degree preferred but not essential ACCA/ACA exam qualified preferred but not essential Good up-to-date CPE and recent developments in accounting standards Experience of OMB's covering a range of industries Computer packages - Excel, Word, Outlook, Sage Line 50, Iris, CCH Pro audit, VT A motivated individual Excellent communication skills - verbal and written Technical approach to work and excellent problem solving skills Ability to work on own initiative Committed team player Attention to detail Deadline driven and ability to work under pressure Organisation skills - ability to manage a number of different tasks simultaneously Client focused and commercially aware What's on offer?
