We are looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join a successful and local business here in Newcastle under Lyme. The right candidate for this role would be a team player with a flexible attitude within the workplace. If you feel that this is the kind of environment you would like to work in, please check out the role below. 30 hours per week / Permanent / Immediate Start on offer / Flexible working hours What the role entails: -Accounts Receivable/Payable Duties -Debtor Control & Liaison -End to End Payroll including month end commissions calculations -Produce Debtors/Creditors reports for Cashflow reporting -Bank Reconciliations -Staff Expenses -Assist with month end duties (post journals, KPI Reporting) What you will need for this role: -Experience in using Sage, Excel Spreadsheets, QuickBooks and Xero is essential -Be able to prepare and submit VAT returns -Be able to prepare Accounts for sole traders and limited companies -At least 3 years experience of working within a similar role is essential -Confident to work without supervision Benefits: -Flexible working hours (either 3 days a week or shortened hours across Mon-Fri) -Smart casual dress -Family feel to the office -Professional Environment If you are interested in the above role, please apply online today and a member of our team will be in touch if you are successful.
