BSM Group are working with a Global Investment Bank to assist them with their search for an Emerging Markets Credit Risk Officer to join their team in London. This position will provide the opportunity for the candidate to join a successful Risk Management division and act as the first point of contact within the Emerging Markets space. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to get more exposure in the FI landscape within EMEA emerging markets. responsibilities:
Acting as the first point of contact within the Risk management division for Credit Risk bearing transactions Assessing the financial/economic situation of counterparties, this will include; balance sheet, P&L & CF analysis Participating in deal meetings with internal stakeholders Performing credit-related due diligence, assessing counterparties, identifying and quantifying risk drivers in transaction structures and proposing risk mitigants Making rating and approval recommendations/approve transactions within existing limits or via a personal delegated credit authority Experience we are we looking for: Solid analytical skills Experience with FI landscape in EMEA emerging markets Experience with country-specific risks and sovereign credit analysis Understanding of legal documentation and risk issues, including LMA loan documentation, ISDAs, CSAs, netting, and credit mitigating features If you would be keen to find out more about the position and the firm, then apply today.
