We are looking to secure a contractor for an exciting Investment business based in the city. The person is required initially to help them prepare for year-end and the incoming auditors, after a recent restructure they just want someone to help ensure it's as smooth as usual. They will then help with a system upgrade and a handful of other projects that the company has planned. This would ideally suit someone with an audit background who also has some time in industry going through a year end and preparing group consolidations for a medium-large sized company. Some project experience will be very useful too. Key

Responsibilities:
Preparing the group consolidation and accompanying statutory accounts - ready for the upcoming audit which will be signed off by mid-October. Liaising with Group's external auditors. Balance sheet and intercompany reconciliations. Experience / Qualifications: Qualified Accountant (ACA or ACCA) Essential Experience with: Preparation of Year-end Statutory Accounts Group consolidations liaising with auditors Experience with system implementations or other finance projects will be beneficial Strong communication skills Ability to build relationships quickly Financial Services experience is beneficial but not essential Must be Immediately Available
