An Accounts Payable Clerk is required to work for a fast growth Digital platform business based in Central London, on a permanent basis. Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will take full ownership of the accounts payable ledger including dealing with high volume of invoices, preparing payment runs and assisting with month end. Duties will include: Taking ownership for processing up to 200 purchase ledger invoices per week Handling bank postings and reconciliations Assisting with month end including prepayments and accruals Taking ownership of the Fixed Asset register Handling employee credit cards and expenses Preparing payment runs Matching PO's to invoices Responsible for supplier statement reconciliations Supplier statement reconciliations Raising and sending invoices Maintaining Aged creditors Heavily involved in process improvements of current procedures The successful candidate will have at least 2 years experience working within an accounts payable team and will have experience of handling high volumes of invoices, ideally from an SME. You must have previous experience of handling the fixed asset register and monthly prepayments. Knowledge of Xero is beneficial but not essential. You must possess strong communication skills and be an ambitious and hard-working individual looking for your next challenge.
