Our client, a prestigious international insurance company based in the heart of the City, has a permanent IBA Credit Control vacancy. This is a great opportunity to join a friendly and sociable company that has a great team environment. Reporting to the IBA Manager the main purpose of this role is to collect any monies owed to the business. This will need to be handled in a sensitive manner and with diplomacy. This means my client requires someone who can build & maintain professional working relationships whilst ensuring company processes and policies are followed. Core duties will include; Ensure all outstanding accounts are chased appropriately according to company procedures Monitor uncollected brokerage and or outstanding debt Preparing and reconciling the IBA accounts accurately and on time Responsible for receipt of funds and outward payments Prevent funding from occurring, but sometimes, you'll need to assist the wider team to clear funded balances as needed Prepare monthly IBA credit control reports Detailed understanding and knowledge of FCA rules and guidelines relating to commercial and private customers Building and maintaining working relationships with clients, brokers and international offices/contacts. To be considered for this position you will have a minimum of 12 months experience working in a Lloyd's broking environment and you will have a confident and professional manner when liaising with internal and external parties.
