Semi-Senior Accountant, Watford A fantastic opportunity to join a 2 Partner Practice in Rickmansworth who are looking to add a studying or recently Qualified Semi-Senior Accountant to join their established, dynamic & growing Practice. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to continue their experience within with a clear path of progression in Accounts. Semi-Senior Accountant duties based in Watford will be Preparation of accounts work for a wide variety of clients, including Limited Companies, Sole Traders and Partnerships, ready for partner / senior review Clearance of queries with client prior to review Client Facing Process final accounts adjustments subsequent to review Submission of accounts and tax returns to HMRC once approved by client Contact clients requesting books and records, in order for work to commence Liaison with outsourcing company regarding submission and return of jobs Completion of periodic client bookkeeping and VAT returns Sundry conversations with HMRC regarding client matters, including chasing tax repayments Experience required for the Semi-Senior Accountant in Watford ACCA/ACA studying 18 months experience in UK Practice Self motivated & dynamic Motivated to work in a client facing role Ability to solve problems, take responsibility and start adding value to the team immediately Excellent communication skills over email and telephone Able to work closely with staff is a must Salary £28,000-30,000
