This person will support the Finance Managers in providing effective analysis in order to assist the building of strategic plans A FTSE listed mobile satellite communications business based in central London is looking for a finance analyst to join their dynamic, fast-paced team. This person will support the Finance Managers in providing commercially focussed, effective analysis in order to assist strategic planning. On a monthly basis, the Finance Analyst will support the Finance Managers in undertaking reviews of actual performance vs. budget/forecast, providing financial information to cost centre managers and reviewing monthly variance analysis reports. Responsibilities of the Finance Analyst include - - Supporting the Finance Managers to ensure that the actual financial and operational results of the BU are provided to the BU management team on an accurate and timely basis - Helping to put in place an up to date, high quality full year forecast - Helping to create a high quality Annual Business Plan and Budget - Provide ad hoc financial and operational analysis and advice to aid the COO and leadership - Provide constructive, high quality commercially focused financial advice Key requirements - - A university graduate either studying towards professional accounting qualification or newly qualified - Experience in commercial accounting, financial modelling and analysis within quality companies - Superior analytical skills coupled with good strategic business understanding - Ability to draw high quality analysis out of the results specific to the business - Ability to travel and work across cultures and time zones - Experience of SAP If you would like to apply for this exciting opportunity, please apply for this Finance Analyst role or email me at
