Payroll - Project - Dundee - Public Sector - FTC Our client, a leading education body, urgently requires a Payroll Functional Lead to join their team to work on a large transformation programme. The Role: Working with the Payroll Team, Project Managers and Business Analysts your role will be to contribute to the creation and development of payroll processes. Also you will review the quality of payroll-related IT functions from the requirements to deliverables as part of the transformation programme. You will identify where change is needed to policies and procedures, documenting these to improve both performance and cost. You will also support the creation of new service level standards for business procedures and vital business processes to ensure project objectives are met. Additionally, your role would require testing these changes, logging results and liaising with third party suppliers to manage future changes. About You: You will be a conscientious person who is looking to join a dynamic team. You will use your specialist knowledge of payroll and your analytical skills to work on different aspects of the project to ensure all changes reflect project objectives and deliver accurate and efficient results. You will be able to demonstrate your excellent experience and knowledge of monthly payroll processes, amendments, data and tax. In order to prove the efficiency of the new system, a strong knowledge of UK legislation is imperative to test a variety of scenarios. You must have experience of processing payments to employees and external bodies as well as submissions to pension providers. Experience of implementing a new payroll system or ERP would be beneficial.
