Heyland Recruitment are working alongside this market leading specialist within the logistics industry as they look to recruit an Assistant Management Accountant into their Skelmersdale office. You will be an important part of a small regional finance team who look after a number of P&Ls for various operations. Reporting directly to the Commercial Finance Manager you will be required to deliver Management Information to the various senior stakeholders as well as supporting the production of weekly and monthly Management Accounts. Key responsibilities Support in the weekly production of costings for several P&Ls Submit weekly costings and KPI information to Operations and Head Office Creation and maintenance of accurate MI Support in the monthly management accounts process Investigate and explain variances in the management accounts Get involved with the production of monthly review packs of financial and operational management information Contribute towards annual budgets and periodic reforecasts for all profit centres Invoice and credit control customers and update Company cash forecast Maintain accurate purchase ordering Numerous ad-hoc reports and project tasks as required Required attributes / experience; AAT PQ / Qualified Attention to detail and analytical approach Expert in using IT, including Microsoft Office Hard working and flexible, with a strong commitment to meeting deadlines Good communicator Willingness to learn about the Company and industry with a desire to excel and develop Must be willing to travel Benefits Competitive salary Full study support including salary increments in line with progress Free car parking Generous holiday entitlement
