Financial Controller Aerospace South West- Bristol- Gloucester- Cheltenham £45,000 The Role An exciting opportunity has arisen with one of our key Aerospace clients for a Financial Controller to join their team in a period of growth. Reporting into Finance Director this is a pivotal role for the business and will manage a small team. The role will include: Provide costing support for a wide range of projects Support all areas of the business with regards to financial and compliance Support of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Payroll Lead all internal audits Internal Controls Report Tax reports and associated documentation Revenue recognition reporting requirements Manage month end processes Approval and completion of balance sheet reconciliations Analysis of large amounts of complex data Ability to visualise processes and lean manufacturing methods To liaise with the Operations & Financial personnel Appropriate financial controls are in place The Person Essential Must have been working in a manufacturing environment Financials/ accounting experience Relevant finance qualification: ACCA / CIMA or qualified by experience or Part-qualified Management of accounts Experience of managing audits - internal and external Completion of statutory accounts Knowledge of VAT Experience of managing month end processes to strict deadlines Understanding of business cost structure and commercial costing models Strong in process improvement Ability to communicate across the business on all levels Excellent analytical skills Ability to communicate with non-finance Managers Strong team player Advanced Excel Travel may be required Desirable A bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business Administration is desirable Instrastat The Company My client is an Aerospace business which is showing continued growth and are running a number of exciting projects with multiple customers The Package £45,000 Days Pension flexitime APPLY NOW Interview to be held ASAP
