Job Title - Senior Financial Analyst Location - Milton Keynes Rates - Up To £345.26 per day (PAYE) and Up To £395.43 per day (LTD/Umbrella) In Scope of IR35 About the role / project: In this role you will review and analyse the management information report which is produced for a regulator. You will need to develop, implement and apply consistently using analytical tools, systems and processes to make recommendations for improvements where appropriate. You will also support the route and central support functions to ensure accuracy of the data. What you will do: Review, analyse and challenge management information reports for the routes and central functions to ensure full compliance with CP5 targets. Assist in the measurement of route compliance against Network Rail's Delivery Plan within the regulatory framework focussed on achieving corporate goals. Lead the development and financial analysis of all activities, including the setting of benchmarking and best practice, internal and external, for all activities. Provide the appropriate management information and support to budget holders for control of expenditure and business case development. Derive from analysis and discussions, opportunities for improvement. Propose actions to budget holders. Monitor and report on progress in the implementation of efficiencies identified in the business plan by the use of the efficiency tracking process. Manage the production of Network Operations reporting packs for management reviews. Your experience will include: - A background in producing management reporting is essential. - Excellent stakeholder management/engagement. - Good communication and written skills. - Analysis and reporting experience. - Ability to drive forward project development in reporting space. - Experience from within a large/complex organisation. - Highly skilled in Excel. - Attention to detail.
