Elevation Recruitment Group are currently recruiting a dynamic and tenacious Credit Risk Manager for a leading retail business in Chesterfield with a turnover of approximately £230 Million which has enjoyed over 450% growth over recent years. The role of Credit Risk Manager is a key role within the business and they are keen to secure an individual with the drive and enthusiasm to achieve results through their teams performance and take ownership of risk within their business. As Credit Risk Manager you will be responsible for effectively managing and minimising risk for the company as well as having a focus on the continual development of processes and efficiencies. You will also work closely with the sales team and senior management to enable best practice and develop a better understanding across the business. The role will be primarily based in Chesterfield but may involve some occasional travel from time to time. The role will include the following duties: - Overseeing the day to day running of this credit department Managing, coaching and mentoring a Credit Control Team of 5 Driving continuous improvement initiatives Manage recruitment and onboarding into the team when required Complete regular risk analysis on new and existing accounts Prepare monthly KPI reports to Senior Management within the business Attend monthly meetings to discuss and review performance Business partnering with sales teams and sales management Providing regular updates and reports to the senior management team To be considered for this role you MUST have the following skills and attributes:- ICM Qualification is desirable although not essential Accounting background Experience of credit insurance and working with third parties Previous risk management experience Experience of implementing and driving process improvements Experience of working a fast-paced business Able to effectively manage and influence teams Able to work well under pressure and have the ability to diffuse situations Able to work to tight deadlines Excellent organisational skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Hold a valid driving licence This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a growing and fast-paced business with a great work culture and be supported by a management team that likes to invest in the development of their staff.
