SF Recruitment is currently recruiting for an Accounts Assistant to join a well established company based in Burton-On-Trent. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking for a role within a friendly team with plenty of variety. About the Role You will: - Operate the payroll on a weekly/monthly basis for around 100 employees, processing the accounting entries and providing precise and timely reports to HMRC. - Administration of the payroll - Dealing with any payroll queries - Administration and management of the Company Pension scheme. - Company Sick Scheme Administration - Maintenance of the Sales Ledger - Allocation of customer receipts - Credit Control - Month end reconciliations of both the Sales Ledger and Payroll. - Providing daily reports to management regarding production. - Any ad-hoc duties as required The ideal candidate will be looking for a role with variety, and must have previous Payroll processing experience. Strong numeracy and data entry skills are imperative, as are a very strong attention to detail. Excellent organisational skills are required, along with the ability to prioritise and manage workload. You must be a confident and effective communicator, with the ability to handle discreet and highly confidential data. Strong Microsoft Office experience, including Excel are also important.
