Beauty is in the eye of the beholder Sheridan Maine is excited to be working with a global cosmetics and skincare company. They are currently looking for an FP&A Analyst to join their busy and expanding finance team. The role will be on a 6 month fixed term contract, working closely with the Commercial Finance Controllers. You will act as a finance business partner to all brands, providing important insight on trading performance, supporting delivery of the annual budget & three-year strategic plan and identifying areas for growth and efficiency, whilst also adding value through providing commercial financial support to optimise performance. Your responsibilities will include:
• Deliver regular forecasts that accurately predict performance based on trends and drivers
• Identify issues impacting delivery of the forecast, across all aspects of the P&L, and work with both the business and the Heads of Finance to identify mitigation plans
• Play an important role in delivering the budget process for all brands
• Work closely with the Commercial Finance Controllers in providing key insight and identifying emerging trends on business performance
• Deliver management reporting for the businesses which will need to be accurate, timely and actionable
• Use financial insight and data to help the business control its costs and then use that insight to make strategic decisions
• Develop a business mindset and act as sounding board to the Commercial Finance Controllers and other members of the business outside of finance
• Ad hoc analysis and scenario planning
• Support Commercial Finance Controllers to deliver regular weekly and monthly reporting with action based commentary
• Work to deliver and report appropriate KPIs for the business Your skills and qualifications will include:
• Part qualified accountant (ACMA, ACCA, ACA) or by experience
• Excellent relationship building and stakeholder management skills
• Experience of working in a commercial finance function of a large company
• Experience of complex analysis of business performance in a commercial business environment
• Experience of building strong and successful relationships across multiple functions within a business
• Strong modelling capability and the experience of developing mid and long term financial models You are required to be eligible to work in the UK full time without restriction.
