This role, Sole Accounts Payable Manager (Temp to Perm), is an excellent opportunity for an experienced candidate to take full responsibility and control of the payables function.
Our client are a large and international telecommunications business looking for someone to take ownership of the businesses cash flow.
The role will start as soon as possible on a temporary basis for 3 months before becoming permanent.

They are 5 people within the finance team and looking to hire someone on a temporary to permanent basis within a sole payables role.

Description
This role, Sole Accounts Payable Manager (Temp to Perm) , involves:
- Overall responsibility of the company's payables function
- Dealing with the high profile clients and working closely with suppliers
- Dealing with multiple entities with multiple cost codes and ensuring everything is allocated correctly
- Dealing with multiple invoices to ensure they are processed across the correct entity, and then allocating them to the correct cash flow forecasting
- Intercompany reconciliations
- High attention to detail
- Assisting in process improvement across the finance function alongside the Finance Director
- Resolving queries in great detail and dealing with complex invoices
- Dealing with multiple invoices to ensure they are processed across the correct entity, and then allocating them to the correct cash flow forecasting
- Credit card reconciliations
- Bank reconciliations and supplier statement reconciliations
- Weekly cash allocation
- Processing cash receipts for cash releases
- Working in multiple currencies and ensuring the correct VAT code is applied
- Accruals
- Fixed asset register - adding invoices to the correct cost code and then to the fixed asset register
- Working on XERO and Quickbooks
- Accountancy focused
- Temporary to permanent role
- Based in the City of London at Victoria
- Paid hourly initially for 3 months
Profile
The candidate we are looking for, Sole Accounts Payable Manager (Temp to Perm) , must:
1. Have extensive end to end payables experience including process improvement experience
2. Be happy to work in a sole role and manage the entire function
3. Be immediately available or on 1 weeks notice
