Exciting opportunity for an adventurous accountant looking to gain international experience and volunteer for a non-profit organisation working to eradicate and raise awareness about human trafficking in Kenya.

Our partner is working to eradicate human trafficking, exposing the crime and empowering its victims. Their work raises awareness and sensitises people to the danger of trafficking; they provide rescue, shelter, counselling and reintegration training for victims, educational workshops and opportunities for economic empowerment. They also conduct research on thematic areas which they use to inform and influence policy changes.
You will start by reviewing their progress providing further guidance and training as needed. You will also support with the following tasks:
- Introducing monthly management reports and accounts
- Improving financial controls
- Advising on cash management procedures
- Implementing procurement policies
- Updating the Finance Manual with these changes
- Training staff on the new additions

In only ten years we are pleased to announce the placement of our 1000th volunteer. This will take the total hours of pro-bono financial management coaching by our volunteers to over 200,000. An extraordinary effort, that assisted the development, and in some cases survival, of some fantastic organisations.
