A well-respected organisation within the education sector is looking to appoint an Assistant Accountant on the outskirts of Ringwood on a part time basis. The successful Assistant Accountant will be offered flexible working hours, onsite parking and exposure to the entire accounts function. In this diverse job, the Assistant Accountant will be providing a variety of support to the Finance Manager from general ledger duties to ad hoc reports. Reporting to the Finance Manager you will be responsible for: Bank reconciliations Raising purchase orders Processing invoices for various trusts Billing, including issuing of invoices Petty cash Accruals & prepayments Supplier statement reconciliations Assisting with process implementation / improvement VAT returns Maintain financial records What you will need: Experience in one or more of the following roles: Accounts Administrator / Finance Administrator / Accounts Assistant / Assistant Accountant / Bookkeeper Inquisitive mindset Ideally studying towards an AAT qualification / Strong QBE's will be considered Excellent communication skills Ability to multi-task Highly accurate What you will get: Onsite parking Flexible working hours Excellent pension Career development The Niche Partnership is acting as a recruitment business in relation to this role.
