Assistant Accountant - Bookkeeper / Salary £24,000 - £26,000 Excellent Benefits, Parking, Career Progression / Cambridge / Excellent Working Conditions A national service company, who are part of a global brand, are looking to recruit an experienced Assistant Accountant - Bookkeeper on a permanent basis to assist the current Financial Controller with running the accounts function A recent merger and continuous growth in sales has led to this new position in finance. Duties Assisting the Financial Controller with maintaining the accounts function Month end duties, accruals, journals, Balance sheet reconciliations Assisting in the preparation of monthly management accounts Bank reconciliations Processing payments to suppliers via Sage 50 Cash reconciliations Allocating cash to relevant accounts Purchase & Sales Ledger Processing VAT returns Essential Experience Required To be successful in your application for this role you MUST have the following experience Ideally you will be AAT, CIMA, ACCA Part Qualified - Qualified by Experience You must have experience of using Sage 50 accounts software You must also have worked within a similar position with month end exposure Experience of preparing management accounts is desirable Excellent team player, good communication skills Whats on Offer?
