Sheridan Maine is working closely with one of most prestigious clients, as they look to take on an experienced Credit Professional into their growing Credit team. This organisation is a large Manufacturing business who's operations in the UK have steadily increased over the last 5 years. They are looking to expand their Birmingham office. The team in Birmingham look after all National accounts in the UK and the ledger you will take full responsibility is around 1.5 million. Your new role As a Senior Credit Controller you will be responsible for a key ledger consisting of some of the companies larger client accounts. You will support the Credit Manager to ensure services are delivered to a consistent high quality, ensuring invoices are correct and queries are dealt with both professionally and promptly. Your duties include: Please note travel to the North of England every quarter will be required with all expenses paid. - Call handling - Credit checking - Account Managing - Invoicing and invoice management - Chasing arrears and tracking payment dates. - Agreeing repayment plans with clients. - face to face meeting's - Preparation of weekly and monthly Credit Reporting. - liaising internally with the operations and sales team to ensure policies and procedures are being met. What you'll need to succeed - 2 years in Credit Control. - Strong Excel Skills (vlookups, pivot tables) - Work unsupervised as part of a team - Computer literacy - Problem solving and investigation - Experience of excellent customer service and emotional intelligence Offer Up to £23,500 P/A - £375 Monthly bonus also available This role is contracted until Christmas but after October there could be an opportunity to go permanent with the business dependant of performances.
