A successful and stable accountancy firm is seeking a Senior OR Semi Senior Accountant for a job with broad duties and professional training support available (for AAT and ACCA). This firm is located close to Stapleford, Long Eaton, Chilwell, Beeston and Breaston. The firm provides accountancy, taxation, payroll and audit services for many organisations and individuals and they offer a personalised service and happy working environment. The successful candidate should ideally have a minimum of 18 months experience working in practice. You will be offered the opportunity and support to continue with your studies if necessary, and the firm is also considering newly qualified accountants and those qualified by experience. You should be confident and have good communication skills enabling you to interact with clients, colleagues and directors as part of a small but dedicated team. The role may develop to helping review staff and junior files, running your own portfolio of clients including attending meetings with them alongside a Partner or meeting them alone. Clients are varied and range typically up to around £10-£15M turnover. Duties will include, but not be limited to: - Accounts preparation Assisting clients with sage line 50 Preparation of VAT returns Producing corporation and personal tax returns Assistance with audits
