Heyland Recruitment are currently working with our well-established client based in Daresbury, there is a need to bring on an Payroll Officer to their finance team on a contract basis. The successful candidate will be report into the Payroll Manager, this is a fantastic opportunity to develop your already existing payroll skills. Key Duties and Responsibilities All aspects of payroll, including processing statutory payments and starters and leavers Ensuring accurate and prompt payment of salaries Pension administration and processing Producing standard and ad hoc reports Handling payroll queries Manual calculations Administering Company Benefits Payroll reconciliations End of Year administration and processing Keeping up to date with current government legislation relating to all aspects of the payroll Meeting strict and changing deadlines Updating and maintaining records HMRC Administration and payments ensuring all information is sent and processed according to HMRC deadlines Providing confirmation of earnings to external organisations Providing management information each month end Reconciling month end, year to date submissions Updating and maintaining a variety of systems, including in house software packages and MS Office Key Skills and Attributes Works well in and out of team Computer Literate A minimum of 2 years of Payroll experience Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to multi-task High level of accuracy and attention to detail Ability to work accurately to tight deadlines A flexible approach Can work independently and as part of a team Ability to work in a fast paced environment Comfortable working with processes and procedures If you feel you have the relevant skills mentioned then please apply to be considered for the shortlist.
