Venn Group is recruiting for a permanent Assistant Accountant position for a large, established organisation with excellent career opportunities, based in Birmingham. Duties include: Contribute to the provision of and reporting of management accounting at month end Producing journals and reconciliations to a high standard Managing balance sheet reconciliations and ensuring compliance to internal controls Cash flow and intercompany reconciliations and reporting Completing reporting packs and working closely with finance business partners Preparing and posting transactions to the general ledger The ideal candidate will: Be either part qualified (ACCA, CIMA, ACA) or qualified Accountant Hold experience in producing either financial accounts or management accounts Possess excellent Excel skills (pivot tables and VLookups) Track record of working to tight deadlines and work with a sense of urgency If this role is of interest to you then please apply online or call Brennan Black on to discuss further details.
