Rotheram Carrington Financial recruitment are currently recruiting an Assistant Management Accountant for a National brand based in Crewe. As Assistant Management Accountant, you will be working within the Management Accounting Team and collectively they are responsible for driving commercial performance. Role Ownership of Corporate Overheads Accruals & Prepayments Journals & Schedules to ensure accurate monthly costs reported through P&L & balance sheet integrity Ownership of property system/database Ownership of property costs within P&L (Rent, Rates, Repairs) Reconciliation of balance sheet controls surrounding supplier payments, costs & recharges Support financial accountant with IFRS16 calculations & data checks Support operations to provide information regarding property risks & opportunities Reporting to business of upcoming rent reviews to be prioritised Make recommendations on effective ways of working to streamline production of monthly accounts Make recommendations on effective cost saving methods within the corporate business. Support to Management Accountant with P&L production & variance analysis Key Skills Required/Person Specification AAT Qualified/CIMA/ACA Part Qualified (QBE will be considered) High Attention to Detail Highly Organised & Methodical Experience in detailed reconciliations Strong Excel Skills Ability to build cross functional relationships Flexibility required surrounding management of strict month/year end deadlines Experience of JDE/Oracle would be advantageous but not compulsory Experience of property systems would be advantageous but not compulsory Comfortable with prioritising multiple tasks and making accurate assumptions when required Ability to work with minimal supervision If you would like to learn more about this role, please contact Rotheram Carrington Financial Recruitment.
