Reed Accountancy are currently recruiting for an Assistant Accountant to work in a well established manufacturing company based in Sudbury and assisting the Financial Accountant. This is an exciting and interesting business with a job that offers real variety and responsibility. You will need to demonstrate strong Excel skills and attention to detail. Duties will include: - Preparation of month end journals - Balance sheet reconciliations - Variance analysis - Assisting in the preparation of budgets - Assisting in the preparation of group monthly management accounts - Involvement in year-end accounting processes - Reporting on stock - Reconciliation of expenditure - Profit & loss accounts - Cash flow reporting - Covering the credit control and payroll function - Supporting the payroll The salary is £26-28,000 pro rata If you have experience of month end reporting and would like to work in a progressive, busy environment please apply directly to:
