The "Operational Risk Analyst", will support the Head of Operational Risk and CRO, in the oversight of Operational Risk, and to ensure that the Bank's Operational Risk, and Operational Risk framework is robust. A second line of defence role with oversight of operational risk issues and events Perform independent risk reviews and write up OR events Oversee RCSA and associated controls testing. Review and approve all changes' in the Bank's RCSA. Involved in the execution of the Bank's sample - based control testing, and report these through risk governance Perform a review of the various risk audits, and monitor information security risks Prepare Operational Risk reports and dashboards, and support the Operational Risk Committee Provide support to the Head of Operational Risk for Business Continuity and DPO. This will also involve coordination of the Bank's activities, to a set Business Continuity framework Provides input into preparing the Bank's resolution plan Oversee and coordinate the Bank's insurance arrangements Working with risk colleagues on ad-hoc tasks, as and when required The successful individual will have the following; Background in financial services At least a years' experience in operational risk, with a solid understanding of key principles and tools Understanding of OR frameworks, their implementation and evolution Ideally exposure to OR system implementation Experience in control testing or auditing This is an excellent opportunity for someone to work for a reputable Islamic Bank.
