Commercial divisional FD role for a large listed technology company looking after a fast growing c£80m TO business. Reporting to the UK FD this role will suit a commercially focused qualified accountant with both strong academics and a demonstrably progressive career to date. You may have qualified in either the Top 6 and had several years post qualifying commercial experience or have had a career 100% in commerce, adding value to commercial operations. Experience of the B2C or B2B technology markets with scale would be helpful. The role has a team of qualifieds reporting in and this division has a strong business partnering role to play with operations and major clients. Working to maximize profit, minimise risk and steer the sales team on both strategic and immediate objectives is a key part of this role. Ideally you will be skilled at looking at client contracts and assessing risk across tax, regulatory, commercial and on a cashflow basis. You will be part of the senior management team and help build, manage and execute a rolling 5 year plan for this division. Some experience of FP&A would be very beneficial when it comes to looking at commercial opportunities with enterprise size clients, both existing and new. This role will involve some UK travel a couple of days a week, mainly in London and the South coast (near Portsmouth).
