I am currently recruiting for a Credit Control Supervisor for a well-established company based in Nantwich. The right candidate will have supervisor experience with Consumer and Commercial debt collection experience. The salary is £25,000 - £26,000 DOE. The working hours are full time Monday-Friday on a three week running rota. The hours of work are between 8.30am and 5.30pm. In the busier season (winter) you will be asked to do 1 in 4 Saturdays which will be a half day and paid as overtime. Duties
• Guide, support and organise a team of three
• To actively chase all overdue debt.
• To make pre-emptive calls to ensure monies due are paid on time.
• Manage the direct debit returns with our customers ensuring prompt repayment.
• Proactively converting our customers to direct debit payments and email communications. Order Release
• To review all stopped orders regularly for release.
• Using credit reference agencies to review credit limits.
• Working alongside our sales depots where overdue balances/queries are causing issues. Other
• Resolve customer queries.
• To review ledgers monthly with depot managers giving updates to the management team on all bad debts and queries.
• To manage unallocated cash on customer accounts where routine processes have failed. Person Specification
• Must have worked in a supervisor position before
• Consumer and commercial debt collection experience
• Excellent communication and relationship building skills Benefits
