Job Purpose: The role is within an established, UK based Finance team, involved in all aspects of accounting for an overseas payroll. The role also includes significant financial analysis and planning work for businesses across EMEAR, as well as business partnering with internal and external parties. Main Tasks/

Responsibilities:
Month end accounting for payroll related accounts, including recording of expenses, liabilities and accruals. Payroll review and approval for various entities within EMEAR. Financial analysis of salary-related expenditure, and understanding key variances. Financial planning - working with HR and budget holders to prepare headcount and salaries budgets for several EMEAR entities on an annual basis, and interim forecasts as required throughout the year. Acting as business partner to HR, other EMEAR payroll functions, Terex Corporate and external payroll providers. Other Ad-Hoc Duties supporting the wider finance team. Skills/Education/Experience Essential Good knowledge of basic accounting practices including accruals, expenses, foreign exchange. Previous payroll accounting experience or strong general management accounting experience. Previous experience of analysing and reporting. Knowledge of budget process and supporting planning process. Strong Excel skills. Knowledge of Financial Compliance. Confidential and trusted approach. High level of accuracy and attention to detail. Ability to work independently under pressure and meet challenging deadlines. Desirable Qualified through AAT, CIPS and experience as above.
