You will be responsible for leading audits from planning to completion manage small teams, complete statutory accounts, basic tax returns and carry out a number of interesting ad hoc advisory based projects such as business plans, raising finance, cashflows, budgets, corporate finance etc. Your clients will be varied and include industries such as consultancy, media, property, entertainment, technology and retail. Client turnovers will be to £100m, although some groups are considerably larger. There will also be genuine opportunities for you to progress to manager level in the future due to the office needing some more managerial leadership. To be considered for this new role you must be a qualified ACA / ACCA Audit Senior currently working in a small or medium sized practice firm and looking to upgrade to a Top 20 firm in Kent. Your current role must be at least 30% audit based and you must be looking to increase the amount of audit that you undertake. You must have experience of leading audits from planning to completion as well as accounts preparation assignments and some staff management responsibilities. Experience of a wide range of clients would be an advantage as would enthusiasm to progress in a short space of time.
