Role: Bookkeeper
Salary:
£30,000 - £32,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Location:
North London Are you an experienced Bookkeeper? Do you have a strong understanding of management accounts? Have you previously worked in a not-for-profit or charity organisation? If this sounds like you, then please read on Our client, a not-for-profit organisation in North London, is looking for an efficient and hard-working Bookkeeper to join their Finance team. The role will be busy as the Bookkeeper is supporting the financial management of the company. Main Responsibilities of the Bookkeeper: Ensuring all data is processed accurately for management and financial accounts Assisting management with the preparation of Annual Accounts Overseeing the delivery of month end and quarterly trial balance Preparation of monthly payroll including annual P11D's Producing monthly fundraising reconciliation Ensuring all databases, records and ledgers are accurate and up to date Reconciling bank statements and accounts Checking and processing invoices Assisting with regular credit control duties Liaising with HR to process payroll and pensions Checking for any data entry errors and correcting where necessary Helping out with other ad-hoc duties as requested Successful Candidate for the Bookkeeper role: 4 years' bookkeeping experience including knowledge of management accounts, audit trial, and record keeping Excellent written and verbal communication skills Highly organised and attention to detail Able to prioritise and handle a busy workload, with excellent time management skills Strong customer service and interpersonal skills Able to work well as a team and independently Strong IT skills including Microsoft Office (specifically Excel) Experience working in a not-for-profit or charity organisation is desirable If you are interested in applying for this role or would like to hear more about it, please hit apply TwentyFour Recruitment is an equal opportunity employer.
