As a growing services business who continue to enjoy unprecedented growth. The senior finance leadership team are an inspirational group of people and seek to hire a progressive Financial Analyst. The role will give the right person lots of autonomy and will suit a dynamic forward thinking go getter. Our client is going through a substantial transformation project and this role will work closely with the FP&A lead who will be their mentor and support their growth within the business. The role will play a significant role in the team, actively supporting the business in making sound decisions & forecasts and take ownership of a variety of business areas, employing strong data analytical and forecasting skills. Responsibilities will include:
• Ownership of Weekly and Monthly Sales MI highlighting trends and drivers of change (including mix, products)
• Analysis of IT operational costs (2nd largest cost base), providing monthly commentary and linking into forecasts
• Ownership of weekly rolling reforecast, gaining and using insight from Sales, Products & Marketing teams
• Ownership of quarterly forecasts, annual budget and strategic (5 year) plan for IT and New Business Pipeline
• Support analysis and forecasting of revenues and net interest margin for Parent Company & Special Purpose Vehicles
• Contribute to preparation of Board and other Management Information packs
• Development and automation of reporting and forecasting for New Business Pipeline and IT, supporting new systems implementations / enhancements as required
• Provide modelling support for the business as required (e.g. new products, cost saving initiatives)
• Support the business with both internal and external data requests e.g. Regulatory Bodies, Ratings Agencies, Gartner
• Maintain a good knowledge of the company's business & performance through informal and formal networks
• Support others in Finance / the business to ensure processes & data quality are robust and of a consistent high quality A salary of £40,000-£45,000 is on offer with bonus and great benefits.
