A well established design business in North London is looking for a hungry and experienced management accountant to join their 4 man team. The Company Based in North London the company provides tailor made high designs to high end clients both in the UK and across Europe. Established in 1998, the company pride themselves on their craftsmanship and quality products. The Role This is a key role within the accounting team and will report into the F.D but also work closely with the managing director. Responsibilities include but will not be limited to the following: Preparation of monthly management accounts to in accordance with published timetable Production and issuing of departmental profit reports Balance sheet reconciliation Calculation and processing deferred revenue adjustments Review and preparation of monthly VAT returns Production of month-end journals including depreciation, rebates, stocks and WIP and accruals and prepayments Assist with preparation of year end audit Reviewing journals and other work of junior accounts staff Sales Ledger export to our accounts system of the monthly invoices, checking allocation to nominal codes. Maintenance of fixed asset register You will have Experience preparing the full pack of management accounts and be used to working in a professional environment.
