-Finance Administration Assistant The accurate calculation and distribution of remuneration statements for partners during each intake period, to a set timetable (four per year). To ensure VAT split calculations thereon are accurate Uploading and inputting payments on banking systems Maintaining the purchase ledger and cash book ensuring they are kept up to date for all remuneration transaction. Maintaining remuneration spreadsheets. Monitoring shared commission in-box and answering queries from partners and internal staff when they arise Calculation and posting of recharge journals Play a key role in providing feedback to the sales team on remuneration processes Other responsibilities Assist with month end procedures Experience Required:- Finance Administration Assistant Skills and Abilities IT literate Excellent interpersonal and communication skills verbal, written and electronic. Ability to work unsupervised High degree of attention to detail Ability to keep accurate records and to track information Experience Essential Excel skills - Must be comfortable with sum functions and the basic add, subtract, divide and multiply functions & formatting features. Desirable Experience of using outlook and its features, search and categorisation features etc Experience of using the purchase ledger and cashbook functions within accounting software packages (Sage). Experience of working in a customer focused environment Comfortable using excel formula's such as VLOOKUP (IDEALLY) Qualifications and Training Essential Educated to GCSE level standard or the equivalent. Attitude/Disposition Good team worker Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines whilst maintain accuracy and standards of service. The full time Finance Administration Assistant roles are on Fixed Term Contract based in Central Cambridge. They will be for 6 months contracts, with the possibility of extension or even go permanent. Working Monday - Friday 09:00 - 17:30. The salary will be ranging from £18,000 - £21,000 Pro-rata DOE PA company benefits.
