Accounts Assistant - Temp - Birmingham City Centre - £20-25K Greenwell Gleeson have been tasked with recruiting an Accounts Assistant for a company in Birmingham city centre. The role will predominantly lean towards Accounts Payable and over time become versatile in its responsibility's working closely with the Management Accountant. Key

Responsibilities:
Ensure an effective process for Accounts Payable, ensuring invoices are processed in accordance with company policy Organise the payment of suppliers in accordance with company policy. Ensure supplier statement reconciliations are completed in line with company guidelines. Ensure that all Accounts Payable data is secure and filed efficiently. Prepare period end routines to assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts. Complete administrative tasks including archiving. Ensure all accounts payable requirements in connection with the year end and external audit are met. Undertake accounts payable analysis as requested. Ad-hoc financial reporting and analysis as required. Key Experience: You have experience of processing supplier invoices and supplier statement reconciliations. Demonstrate ability of working as part of a team. You may have some recognized accounting qualifications (AAT) and you are looking for the opportunity to develop your broader accounting skills and experience.
